Neev Energy is delivering the Odisha RWSS (Rural Water Supply and Sanitation) Street Lighting Project on a turnkey basis, extending reliable and energy-efficient lighting solutions to rural communities across Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, and Cuttack districts. The initiative focuses on upgrading village-level infrastructure by deploying LED street lighting in one village of each Gram Panchayat, enhancing safety and quality of life in underserved areas.

The project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of LED street lights mounted on existing LT distribution poles, integrated with fixtures, accessories, and timer-based metering and control systems. Execution in rural conditions posed distinctive challenges—such as scattered and geographically dispersed habitations, difficult site accessibility, irregular power supply quality, and the need to align with local administrative structures and community expectations. Addressing these required flexible planning, localized logistics, and close coordination with multiple stakeholders.

A comprehensive operation and maintenance framework ensures long-term performance, combining proactive servicing, monitoring, and fault rectification. By bringing advanced, energy-efficient lighting to rural habitations, the project supports inclusive and sustainable development while demonstrating the adaptability of Neev’s smart lighting expertise in non-urban environments.
