SMART Street Lighting Project, Odisha, India

Neev’s flagship, it is one of the largest advanced smart lighting projects in India. Operating on a public private partnership (PPP) model in five municipal areas of Odisha, the project encompasses product and lighting design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of over 78,000 smart LED street lights, along with corresponding accessories.

The smart street lighting system is remotely monitored and controlled from miles away, to ensure optimal energy efficiency. With options of manual or autopilot mode, the smart street lights can be switched on/off and dimmed, in groups or individually. With the smart network, power savings have gone up and downtime is negligible, ensuring the roads are illuminated at desired levels, at all times required. Fault detection, analysis and rectification are easy due to alerts and features of the smart city street lighting system.
