Neev Energy successfully executed the Smart Street Light Electrification Project at the Bawana Industrial Area in Delhi, a large greenfield estate developed by DSIIDC for relocated and emerging industries. The project delivers a fully modernized, energy-efficient lighting network tailored for a rapidly developing industrial hub.
The scope included the supply and installation of galvanized octagonal poles, smart LED luminaires with both group and individual-level wireless monitoring and control through RF mesh, underground cabling in protective conduits, and feeder panels with advanced switching and safety systems. The system enables remote on/off, dimming, and performance tracking, ensuring reliable operation and optimized energy management.
Execution in Bawana posed unique challenges of working in a remote and still-developing industrial area. Many clusters lacked baseline infrastructure, requiring new foundations, underground cabling, and extensive coordination with utilities. Soil and water table conditions demanded specialized civil designs for pole erection and drainage, while wide plot layouts and phased industrial development required adaptive planning and staged execution.
By addressing these complexities, Neev Energy delivered a resilient and intelligent street lighting system that enhances safety, ensures reliable illumination, and supports the long-term industrial growth of the Bawana estate.
